About Us

I am a small home-based kennel in the Mount Washington Valley where I live with my Husband Clay and our wonderful dogs. The dogs are health tested and raised in the kitchen under foot. I take pride in producing sound healthy dogs with wonderful temperaments. When I first got into dogs I was involved in Obedience and trained a number of different breeds starting out with a German Shepherd  named Buck that won me many high in trials. My next adventure in Obedience was with an Afghan Hound named Cory that was the #1 Afghan hound in Obedience while I was going for his CD. If any of you have ever groomed an Afghan Hound you will understand why my next Obedience dog was a Doberman. Chance got her CD at 9 months, her CDX at 18 months and had a UD before she turned 4 years old. I lost her to cancer, as well as the second Doberman Trever. My 3rd and last Doberman was lost at a very young age to heart problems. Third strike and I changed breeds again. This time I went to a Border Collie named Chip, just my luck I found a border collie that didn't love obedience. At about this time my best friend was getting an Australian Shepherd and I went down to the breeders with her when she went to pick him up. I fell in love with a little red Merle puppy in the whelping box. I tried to purchase him, but he was going to live out west. A couple of weeks later I got a call from the breeder and she asked me if I still wanted that little red Merle male, of course I said yes and Justin, Propwash Just-In for Talisman, CD, CDX became my next obedience project. I also showed Justin in the breed ring as well. He was my best friend and my demo dog at my classes. I just lost Justin this last winter. He will always hold a special place in my heart. I still teach Obedience classes for the Carroll County Kennel Club of which I am a member.
While showing the Doberman and Aussies I starting  having knee and ankle problems. I decided it was time to size down to a smaller dog. After researching different breeds for a couple of years I decided on the Chinese Crested. My first crested was a Powder Puff named Teako. Teako turned out to be too big for the breed ring, but he got me started in the breed. I was hooked on these wonderful little dogs. Annie, CH XO's Midnight Celebration was the start of my breeding stock. As they say the rest is history. I now have a number of Cresteds running around the house.
Please take some time and take a look at my dogs, I hope you enjoy my web site.
